I met my love of my life 35 years ago. 6 months ago our house burned down and we lost everything. One picture we had was Sitting Duck that he had when we met. Throughout our lives we often connected with it jokingly and now are attempting to recap what we once had (not really going to happen). We’ve been able to get a few keepsakes but can’t find that picture….where can we find it? Would love to meet you. Honestly…Ed and I are the best people you’ll ever meet!!😋
Hello, my name is Liz Rosema. I write the blog Seize the Absurd and I saw that you liked “The Spotlights On You!” post from Crumbsnatchertales which featured my post, “Sorry Mom Day”. I don’t know if you actually liked my post, but I hope you did… because I started reading your blog and it is pretty kick-awesome. I am a new blogger just trying to get my crap out there and I would be honored if you would be willing to read more of my blog and give advice. I just started really promoting my blog and I could really use some blogging friends…whatever that means.
Well that wasn’t particularly well said but thanks for reading it anyway.
Here is the link to my blog should you be willing to read more of it: http://seizetheabsurd.blogspot.com/
Hi Liz. I just found this comment in my spam folder — it’s been there most of the weeks. Sorry — I didn’t mean to be rude. I’m always happy to chat. In fact it is often hard to shut me up.
I do remember your post, although the one I remember really liking was the criminals with bad haircuts — hilarious. Except for the fact that they are criminals and killers (at least some of them). I have trouble leaving comments on blogspot blogs for some reason. They want me to register, and then send me in circles when I do so that I never actually get to leave my comment.
Welcome to the ‘sphere, Liz. Your blog looks like a lot of fun, and I love the name (unlike mine which I have regretted for 1.5 years. Sigh)

Hi Jane, so sorry about your misfortune. I’ve actually had two fires in my life, although neither was a total loss. Scary stuff.
I looked up the poster, and it might be available here:

But with your recent luck, maybe a different poster would improve your lives!
Good luck to you.
