    I just wonder why the use of language that keeps grandmothers (like me) from showing this to their children and grandchildren. Surely that cuts in to what could be a wider audience. I do love what the House Democrats are doing right now.

      That’s a good point. Some is that it is late night comedy. Some of it is that our tolerance for bad language has gone up so much. But I wonder if there is a bleeped out version!

    This is what I put in facebook this morning:
    “This is a long article about the majority of mass murders in America, those connected with domestic violence. For anyone worried about people with connections to overseas (or domestic) terrorist groups, or the mentally ill, or those with a “fundamental mindset” as my brother puts it (and I think he is talking about religious fanatics of any stripe,) you should know that garden variety domestic abusers are the most likely to kill in mass murders. And their family members are much more likely to die when the abuser has access to guns. I know, shocking, right? So yeah it’s long but worth the read.”

    Brilliant. And don’t pray….do something. Now. Let your voice be heard. Write to your do-nothing congressmen. They are in a filibuster today. Let’s hope it accomplishes something. Australia learned. They paid attention. It is working. WTF America ??? No one needs an assault weapon. No one.

    Excellent. I especially liked the statistic about Australia – no mass shootings at all since 1996. Imagine that! Must be something in that Aussie beer? Or something in the barbie. Eh?

    It takes real talent to find a way to treat a tragedy like this with humor, and Sam Bee shows she has that talent.

    It looks to me like our “well-regulated militia” has joined forces with ISIS, and is now enforcing sharia law, vigilante style. Perhaps one of these days we’ll learn, and discover there are other ways to interpret the 2nd amendment. Because there really are other ways.

    So glad you posted this link! My daughter Melinda is one of the writers on Full Frontal, and she says they are particularly proud of this episode.
