I understand that things are a bit wonky over there in the GOP-led House of Representatives.  And by “wonky” I mean “ungovernable.”

So I figured I’d offer the GOP a suggestion:

    I just hate the fact that they are desperate. They make shitty decisions on a good day, let alone without being under pressure.
    I thought of you the other day when I saw a gigantic warning label on my umbrella … made me laugh.

    A nightmare. She was just as much a part of the problem as the Republicans because her tenure was all about drawing lines in the sand and not budging. We need more reps like Charlie Wilson (without the Afghanistan part) who are willing to scratch each others backs and looking at the big picture of what is good for the country as a whole.

    I bet she would get more votes than any of the few declared Republican candidates. And if enough Republican forget to show up for the vote, and a few vote for her by accident, she might even win.

    I think there’s not a chancy for Nancy. However I read that Republican Congressman Charlie Dent has indicated that some of the GOP may have to get together with some of the Dems to find a speaker they can compromise on. So maybe the radical conservatives are actually pushing politics toward a moderate and less partisan climate. By the way, are you aware that your tags use more words than your actual posts?
